I was working away on my projects this weekend, getting ready for a summer overhaul of my Etsy shop, BabblingPandaYarns. I was looking up crochet things and came across this meme: It made me laugh because people do say funny things like this to me from time to time. Today I am looking after my friend’s boy while she is at work. Another dad friend asked if we would all like to go to the neighbouring park with his family. Of course! Last week I had to pretend I had super powers. Being very sick and feeling like a zombie, I lurched myself through the week in a daze. Twice I nearly fell asleep in my lunch, and Hunter had to ask me what I was doing, and if I was looking at my lunch “real close”. LOL. Sometimes weekends fly by. This one did. We were very busy, it seemed, which is unusual for us. Normally we try to keep weekends low-key. We all need the time to become hermits and recharge. I never regret saying no to weekend plans. That sounds awfully anti-social, doesn’t it? Was it just me or did the weekend zoom past???? Happy Monday, everyone! This weekend we sent the kids off to a play-date and together, my husband and I, put together an IKEA loft bed for Isabella. It’s funny how the smallest changes make the biggest difference.
