Friends and family know that we had planned to go to Disneyland this coming week. I was beginning to wonder if we should go, because of the spread of COVID-19 and the advice to cancel travel plans, when our trip was canceled for us. Disneyland shut down for the month- the first time since the tragic 9-11 attacks.
Obviously, both of us AND the kids understood but the build up of excitement came crashing down and we took it hard:
For now, we wait. Our travel agent is trying to get us updated plans and reschedule our trip while we are respecting the advice to keep an effective “social distance”. We’re also doing a lot of hand-washing, water drinking and rest.
