Sunny Day Kid Activity.

Every once in awhile, I get a guest post on my blog that saves the day. Today was one of those days.

Awhile ago now, I was asked to publish some scavenger hunt printables that kids of all ages could enjoy- and it proved useful today! Isabella wanted to go for a walk but Hunter hates going outside. I told him it would be an “adventure with a purpose”!

I printed out two outside scavenger hunts and off we went. He complained at first but it wasn’t long before he was immersed in his mission to find all of the things before Isabella did-haha.

It ended up being a great nature walk. We even collected samples of leaves, grass and rocks to examine under Isabella’s microscope when we got home.

The blog post with the printable is at the end of this post, after the pictures of our outdoor adventure. Let me know if you try it out!

Unfortunately, I only had my phone with me, but you can see it was a fun time.

Off we go!
Starting the scavenger hunt.
Gathering some clover leaves to examine later.
And ending with a little bit of playground time.

If you want to try your own nature walk and scavenger hunt, check out this post:
