So everyone must have a fave childhood craft or toy that they went back to time and time again. Ours was play-dough. My husband’s was Lego, but all I remember is play-dough. We used hand me down kitchen utensils and re-purposed craft things and built a play-dough world. Food, animals, houses…you name it. It kept us endlessly entertained.
Until today my kid’s craft and utensil supplies for play-dough sucked and they still had fun. All the kids are at school, so after cleaning up lunch, I ran to the store and stocked up on supplies. I got a little carried away but now the kids have a bunch of fun stuff to play with! Cupcake decorator sticks and shape cookie cutters, plastic animals and rolling pins. It should be a blast. Now I have a bit of time to tidy up before they get back to play with it.
Here is my mother’s sacred play-dough recipe and a look at how I set up the play-dough today. Pretty much everything on the table I bought today.
Hey there, I found you via the NaBloPoMo blogroll.
Play-doh was always my favourite thing growing up. My parents soon learned to lose it and be unable to find it, though, because I did tend to make a mess. I still make it now from time to time. I also like to make the one you can bake into ornaments, etc.
As part of NaBloPoMo I try to comment on as many participating blogs as I can, and I am also adding participating blogs to my feed reader. So I’m just dropping by to let you know I’ve added your blog to my feedreader, whenever you publish a post I will see it. 🙂
I have created three bundles on Inoreader so that bloggers can easily visit other participating NaBloPoMo bloggers which you can find here –

Your blog is in the second bundle.. I also have a link up going at my place so my readers can find participating blogs which you are more than welcome to add your blog link to.
Looking forward to seeing your posts. You may see me drop by again during November, but it might be December before I finish my first drop by to blogs if I don’t get faster at leaving comments. 🙂
Happy NaBloPoMo to you!
