Isabella’s Fifth Birthday

In the not-so-distant past…

Today I had Izzy. On that day she isn’t even born yet….. I am in super painful back labour, and telling the doctors there is no way I can go through with this. But thanks to miracle drugs of the modern world I was able to relax and get through it. On the original birth day she was born at 10:22pm. 😀

I had her birthday party with friends in June, but today is her actual birthday and in September I am planning to have a family dinner for the family that lives here. Oh, I should probably let them know that is the plan.  Haha. I’ve been so busy….

Anyway, here is her birthday so far!! We woke up to the sound of singing coming from Izzy’s room…but it wasn’t Izzy. It was her Grandmama (my Mother In Law) who had used her spare key to sneak in, in a clown costume and holding balloons, up to Izzy’s room. She sang Happy Birthday at 7 am and that is how I woke up this morning. It was a complete surprise to all of us. She is lucky I wasn’t up to go to the bathroom. I would have used my self-defense training on her and attacked. Then we had pancakes, went and played, had Pho for lunch and she is out swimming with Grandmama while the boy sleeps and I tidy up.

Here are photos of the day so far:

That was very sweet of grandmamma to do for Izzy…aaand also very creepy. It could have been a birthday gone wrong (think Stephen King and clowns in unexpected places) but luckily such wasn’t the case! 😀 Sounds like you guys had a nice day. Now. Back to reality and Karate classes missy hiya!
