Thrift Shopping Finds

My daughter is mad at me. She is super angry that we thought Isabella was a more suitable name than Wonder Woman. What a kid. She is always entertaining us with random comments like this one.

The other day I got to go thrifting with my friend Randey. Except on our outings that could only be loved by nutballs like us, or seniors, we call each other by our senior names “Maude” (me) and “Lloyd” (Randey). We went to the cutest little place and I found a couple of finds to add to my house. I am resolved to find almost everything I can at thrift stores or garage sales and update or fix them. I want my house to be homey and feel lived in, not like a show home or a mini IKEA. So the project begins!

More on the story later tho. I have been fighting a massive stomach bug that I have almost beat. So for now, more rest and to hell with the housework. I am off to drink tea. When I feel up to it I will blog the day trip we made and add all the cute photos as well.

But wanna see my finds? Only two but pretty adorable…

Unicorn Wind Chimes. I couldn't resist.

Nautical cream and sugar set. I am a sucker for nautical anything, especially when it has gorgeous cobalt blue on it.
